Service List
We have a minimum charge for all breeds based upon the pet’s size, coat condition, and demeanor, and the time involved to complete the groom correctly. All mobile services have an energy gas fee associated with them. In addition there is a 45 lb. weight restriction due to the space allowed and for the safety of your pet.
Our services include:
Full Groom: (Recommended)
The feet and pads are trimmed to keep them cleaner and dryer. Nails are cut and ground for the comfort of the pet and to prevent scratching.
Ears are cleaned and plucked to prevent ear infections. The coat is then brushed out to remove light tangles and small mats or flaking skin.
Thorough brushing also helps stimulate circulation to keep the skin and coat healthy.
When analyzing the skin and coat, our professionally trained stylist will determine which shampoos and conditioners will best meet your pet’s needs. During this examination the stylist will make note of any unique growths or skin conditions that would be areas of concern. Many times a professional pet stylist can help determine if an owner needs to have an additional follow-up with the pet’s veterinarian. The natural shampoo bath is selected based upon the condition of the pet’s skin and coat, and will be priced accordingly.
Towel drying is used to remove excess water for faster drying prior to the force dryer. Hand held dryers are also used to minimize stress to the
pet. These drying procedures are used in lieu of cage drying to reduce the risk of overheating.
The final brushing removes any tangles that may have occurred in the bath and drying phases and will shed out any additional loose hair that remains.
Styling:
Styling includes a Full Groom plus a trim or hair cut as requested by the owner. Many pets require this on a regular basis, generally every 3-4 weeks, to help maintain the coat and minimize matting which can become painful for the pet.
Shave:
Matted pets with extreme matting may require a very short cut. Since extra time is required for the safety of the pets in these extreme
conditions, extra charges may be applied.
Dematting:
When it is possible to save the coat from mats, in a reasonable amount of time, dematting can be performed at a nominal cost.
Medicated bath:
Should your pet have a severe skin condition or perhaps allergies, a medicated bath will be selected to help heal and soothe their skin. These specialty shampoos will be selected based upon the individual needs of the skin and coat.
Deshedding:
The Furminator is a tool that is used to remove the hair that the pet is shedding. A Furminator treatment every 4 weeks may help to reduce shedding up to as much as 90%. This process is due upon request.
